I have been working at ServiceSource full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Benefits and schedule are great. There is a comprehensive package you are able to choose from. No weekends, but they do except a crazy schedule at EOQ and do not make that clear when you are hired

Cons

Relentless overtime, managers are not well-versed in their rolls, more of like a call center, expectations are a little high for the training you receive, not easy to move up into other positions

    Pros

    Culture, opportunity for growth, and the fact that most of your competitors for promotions have never had a big boy or girl job before

    Cons

    Increasing micro-management, sometimes unclear expectations, and growing pains of a newly public company that is becoming too big for its britches

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The standardization across all teams is not working. Employees are becoming dissatisfied and morale is weakening. SSI is not a manufacturing facility and standardization in terms of team operations across the board is impossible. Employees are feeling micro-managed and unable to work in the manner that works best for them as an individual. Also, instead of lavish parties, team spiffs, and wasteful spending to make working at SSI seem cool and fun, the majority would like a clear path to better pay.

    A lot of work to be done and many options to help out so you're not stuck if you don't want to be

    Cons

    growth can be seen as somewhat stagnant given the big growth in past years which has slowed down a bit
