Pros

- Personal Growth and Development in moving up a position is excellent.
- Young and competitive environment compared to most places.
- Close nit group of people working together for common goal.

Cons

- Once promoted, quickly forgotten about and development is gone.
- Compensation is considerably lower than other companies.
- Company is spread across the globe and there isnt a strong intranet to unify and connect them.

Advice to Management

Invest in middle tier employees. One of the reasons why clients love our service is because of the product we provide. Reporting is one major component of that package. Servicesource lacks internal training and development for one of their core services, reporting.

    Pros

    Energetic work-place
    Casual dress code
    Fast-growing business
Great place to learn sales, basic business principles, business reporting
Management is open to employee input/feedback
Upper management is interested in 'skip-level' conversations with sales force
    Multiple locations, including international sites
    Frequent contests and incentives
    Company-sponsored happy hours, outings, etc
    Opportunities for leadership roles
    Located in Downtown Denver

    Cons

    Starting pay is too low
Bonuses are capped - over-achievement is possible, but limited
Sales position does not have clear path for advancement, so many great sales people end up in management (with mixed results)
Sales Support Coordinator role needs more definition, measurable objectives
Sales training is weak, disorganized, fragmented across accounts
Sales targets/bonuses are quarterly, not monthly
    Located in Downtown Denver

    Advice to Management

-Pay attention to comp - you're losing good sales reps to better-paying jobs.
-Create more opportunities for advancement within the sales role.

    Pros

The benefits are amazing, 401k match, cheap health insurance, free vision and dental. Work environment is young and fun to be at.

    Cons

Pay is terrible for a college graduate. Lines of communications with customer are convoluted. The data management is terrible and needs to be redone completely.

    Advice to Management

Spend the money and develop a good data management tool that will actually get the job done efficiently instead of having to run reports and manage spread sheets every day.
