No opinion of CEO

I worked at Servpro Industries full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Always stayed busy and had work, never saw a layoff occur.

Cons

Three owners all with different directions for business

Advice to Management

Have franchise owners have value in their production employees, too much emphasis on the sales team. Most resources dumped into sales, not into improving technician knowledge especially. Those new to industry.

    Pros

Great organization for marketing, franchising. In some departments, a person can do well and make a solid contribution.

    Cons

Way too beaurocratic, too many cliques, too much micro management.

    Advice to Management

    Practice what you preach.

    Pros

Corporate office is a a nice facility. A very clean environment.

    Cons

Not your cup of tea, if you care about Franchisees who have invested their life savings in their Franchise only to have additional costs dictated to them by Corporate.

    Advice to Management

Reduce the additional costs you have imposed upon your franchises -- Your profit margins are already very large. The controlling family, (the Isaacson's) should turn management of the company to professionals and go on extended vacations to their Florida properties.
