I worked at Seton Healthcare Family full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

I liked the people I worked with, and felt that at least within my department my work was noticed and I was respected as a coworker.

Cons

Growth opportunities were somewhat slow for my expectations, but this experience will of course depend on the position you occupy.

I have been working at Seton Healthcare Family full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Getting more state-of-the-art equipment. PTO/holiday changes are now fair. Benefits are still good. Pay is competitive but not the best.

    Cons

Squeaky wheels get all the oil - the people who complain loud and long are catered to in order to keep them quiet. Cutbacks have increased workloads for everyone (including management). Absolutely hate the freeze-fire/layoff-rehire cycles.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Know your people (and not just the noisy ones). Some of your best and hardest workers are not inclined to toot their own horns. Also, across-the-board raises are disheartening to those who carry more of the burden. What's the incentive to work harder if the raises are all the same anyway?
