I worked at Shamin Hotels full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

As people say, this is a great place to get a title. It seems like anyone can if they stick around long enough. Of course, the sticking around is hard to do.

    Cons

Where to start? Senior management changes its focus and goals a couple times a year, so we never know if it's more important to fill the hotel or push rate. Its micromanaging stresses out the regional managers, and all the frustration filters down to each employee. An unhappy, stressful place to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Calm down and learn to appreciate your workers. I knew so many people who wanted to do their best and what was best for the hotel, but got slapped down so much they lost their spark.
