    I have been working at Sharp HealthCare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Pay and benefits are satisfactory. There are some very skilled and knowledgable people to work with. Many nurses are able to transfer to a more ideal hospital after gaining experience at one of the Sharp hospitals.

    Cons

    There are huge gaps in nurses between new grads and nurses who have been there 15 years or longer. Many new nurses do not stay because of bullying or lateral violence.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Look into high turnover rate and need to retrain new staff at a very high rate (and cost). Take issues of bullying very seriously.

    Pros

    Loved the people I work with. Good teamwork. Pay is above average in my field. Great place to learn and grow in my field.

    Cons

    Under staffed, increased workload creates an environment where employees are stressed and prone to making mistakes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire more Per Diem or full time employees so everyone can take thier earned time off and the work place is not so stressful.
