I have been working at Sharp Memorial Hospital as an intern (more than an year)

    Pros

Received great training and even some cool perks.

    Cons

No cons to volunteer position. Administrative staff appear to be stressed and overworked and I hear the compensation is average.

  2.

Supervisors very knowledgable and accessible but interns overworked and treated poorly by administrative staff

I worked at Sharp Memorial Hospital

    Pros

    Supervisors are helpful and accessible
Learn a variety of holistic/alternative treatments

    Cons

Administrative staff is disrespectful and sometimes just plain mean
Interns take on a big case load and aren't paid/compensated or even appreciated
Office space is insufficient- everyone (sometimes around 5 interns at a time) are crammed into one small office space
If you work there as an intern, there is very little chance you'll get hired on as a full-time employee

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

treat the interns better. if you can't pay them, at least make them feel like an important part of your team

    No opinion of CEO
