“being a welding inspector as part of the new nuclear culture”
Current Employee – been working at Shaw Stone & Webster Construction full-time for more than a year
Pros – Shaw is leading the new nuclear industry. We are building two nuclear units here at Vogtle using the Westinghouse AP1000 reactor. These units are the first two new reactors being built in the United States in more than 30 years!
Cons – Being new technology, there are going to be a few learning curves in the constructiion process, but it is still a very exciting time to be part of it.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
