Current Employee - Sales Associate  in  Tallahassee, FL
Current Employee - Sales Associate in Tallahassee, FL

    Pros

Lots of room for advancement. They have an internal hiring website for employees so that they can keep posted on what positions become available. Salary and benefits are pretty good. The company is on an upward slope, stock-wise.

    Cons

Open sundays when barely any customers walk through the door. Typical corporation with lots of policies and procedures.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Close your stores on sundays. It's a waste of company resources to stay open when our costs outweigh the cash being brought in and it lowers employee morale.

Current Employee - IT Analyst in Cleveland, OH

    Pros

    Good exposure to new technologies.
Ample room to grow in terms of deploying initiatives internationally.
    Very difficult to be fired.
Lots of opportunity to work without supervision.

    Cons

    Below average benefit package.
    Average salaries.
    Little room for decisions.
Management has little to no experience on international deployments which result in mismanaged projects.
A lot of emphasis on caring for the employees but there is little effort by the company to actually implement this message.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employee performance should play directly linked to raises, there seems to be little encouragement for an employee to perform at a level other than average.
The company needs to recognize its focus on IT and adopt practices from the industry. There is little understanding on how IT employees should be treated in today's market.
