I have been working at Sherwin-Williams full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Sales oriented company. Great opportunity for advancement if you work hard. Hire from within.

    Cons

Work 50 plus hours per week. Very demanding upper management. Poor work/life balance. If you want to succeed, you need to work 13 hours a day/6 days a week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Store employees often are treated like numbers. I wish the culture would be more like culture in Diversified group - where people treat you like family and care about your life at work and outside of work.

I have been working at Sherwin-Williams full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You learn about the paint products and how to run a business.

    Cons

Not enough employees to work if your in small store. The customers are the ones who suffer because sometimes there is only one worker in the store and lots of customers. They customers have to wait on you rather then you waiting on the customer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow a bigger budget so that more employees can work in the store.
