“Small tight-knit startup: Great people, Quiet atmosphere”
Former Employee – worked at Shop It To Me full-time for more than a year
Pros – -big bright office space in SOMA
-flexible hours, catered lunches, company outings, office snacks and coffee
-friendly, outgoing people yet quirky
-work with fashion retailers, bloggers
Cons – -business model keeps changing, hard to compete with other ecommerce sites
-lack of manpower (engineers, UI/UX development) slows down growth
-not very many senior mangement well-versed in fashion/what makes a product win
Advice to Senior Management – Go mobile!
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
