Pros

Great place to start a career. Pay is somewhat competitive.

Cons

Depending on the department, there may not be very many opportunities for job growth. Also, have to stay in one position for 8 months before moving internally, even if the job has been mastered in less time.

Advice to Management

Encourage employees to move up instead of stay in same position.. You lose many employees because people get "mad" if you leave their department, and there just aren't enough growth opportunities.

    Pros

nice, friendly people, ability to have some flexibility in your schedule:overtime option, early out option, etc.

    Cons

strict attendance policy, 3 absences in 6 months constitutes a verbal warning, regardless of your work performance, people are fired and/or quit all the time and no one ever tells you why, they say they don't know, inefficient computer systems, strict QA guidelines, reverse discrimination, poor communication, etc. No feeling of wanting people to succeed and helping them get there.

    Advice to Management

value the people that answer the phones, if they didn't , there wouldn't be any sales, and no incomes for anyone. They deserve more than they get, they're not machines, they're human beings.

    Pros

Fun but frustrating work environment. Good teammates. 30% employee discount on jewelry, watches and apparel. Flexibility, but this can vary greatly between managers.

    Cons

Compensation not even close to competitive. Poor management. No path forward. It's a training ground - learn what you can and move on to a company that values your work and compensates you fairly. Very short-sighted. Every quarter is a struggle and you hear the same old song and dance when goals aren't met.

    Advice to Management

Create a real path forward for employees or at least be honest about the non-existence of such a path. Pay employees fairly. Put more value on performance and work product rather than brown-nosing, politics and appearances.
