    Pros

The compensation is fair/standard. There are numerous locations, so there is lots of employment opportunities. The hours are very flexible. Many of the staff are students, management works around their school schedule but also their personal schedules. If you need a day, often you get it off.

    Cons

The biggest con is the hours. As a part time employee, you will always have night or weekend shifts (often nights as well). This puts a dent in the personal life/workplace balance. The stores open early in the morning at 8am and most stores close at 10pm or midnight. The other con is the lack of room for advancement. You can move up in the company but I don't believe there are many positions available.

    Pros

The culture at corporate office will provide you with real life experience with how NOT to treat employees and co-workers. The executive are dominated by bullies who encourage a command and control style of leadership; discouraging empowerment and constructive debate when their ideas are challenged. It provides a real eye opener of how not to build staff engagement.

    Cons

Poor career opportunities, poor leadership, no training budget and very little mentoring and coaching.

    Advice to Management

Make changes to your executive leadership.
