I have been working at Shoppers Drug Mart full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

They are very relaxed, and we can have fun at work. Pay isn't too bad, I enjoy the way things are run.

Cons

Working til 12, they like to think the staff steals so cameras are always facing the staff not the customers.

I have been working at Shoppers Drug Mart part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The compensation is fair/standard. There are numerous locations, so there is lots of employment opportunities. The hours are very flexible. Many of the staff are students, management works around their school schedule but also their personal schedules. If you need a day, often you get it off.

    Cons

The biggest con is the hours. As a part time employee, you will always have night or weekend shifts (often nights as well). This puts a dent in the personal life/workplace balance. The stores open early in the morning at 8am and most stores close at 10pm or midnight. The other con is the lack of room for advancement. You can move up in the company but I don't believe there are many positions available.
