Pros

The discount is great, the software is easy, the tasks are repetitive, and the ability to move departments within a single store is amazing. I worked as a Supervisor, Cosmetician, Cashier, Assistant Manager, and Canada Post Clerk all at one location. It was amazing.

Cons

Sometimes management takes the job too seriously, and kills the joy. I've been at a few locations, and the composure of the management team really makes a considerable difference.

Advice to Management

Smile more and laugh more.

    Pros

They attempt to make work a pleasant experience.

    Cons

Abnormal discrepancy in pay for similar jobs, outsourcing too many positions to India, are not in favour of innovation, lots of jealousy and corporate behind the scenes relationship building

    Advice to Management

Be sincere in your goal to make the corporate culture a pleasant one. Be honest in setting REAL goals. If you have a ESAT (employee satisfaction analysis team) then you NEED a way to gauge satisfaction and to address real concerns, not just use the group as a means to organize events (that's an events team, not ESAT).
