Current Employee – been working at Shure
Pros – I don't recognize the company described by VP's and management types on this site. But as a worker in the trenches, maybe I'm just isolated from anything that happens in the upper echelon. I practically never run into the owner.
Friendly, competent people
Good work/life balance
Management is very thoughtful of employees (even the CEO is very approachable)
Some projects are managed very competently
Cons – Some projects are managed with a counterproductive focus on the short term or with unclear leadership. Occasionally schedules are mandated by management without regard to technical considerations.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
