There are always places to learn new things. If you can't find it in BT your not looking. Its size gives it the buying power to bring good benefits and competitive salaries.

Cons

Its a standard big company with standardized processes. Things take a while to happen because so many people are involved. Customers and employees get frustrated by this.

Advice to Senior Management

Bring back the localized touch to the customers. No consumer wants to feel like they are working with the federal government on a project. You need to leave your office and go shake a customers hand after you buy them lunch. Its ok to take a loss 1 year by fixing a mistake to gain 20 years of loyalty.
