I have been working at Siemens PLM Software as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

There are ample opportunities inside the company to showcase your technical and graphical skills. The work is mostly in C++ and completely based on their framework. Once you get familiar with the product, its quite easy to start solving and fixing bugs and development work.

    Cons

Very low chances of growth. Salary is average. Sometimes below average.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reforms needed in the salary structure.

Very disappointed - de facto demotion.

I have been working at Siemens PLM Software full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The amount of PTO is good.

    Cons

    Virtually no hope for advancement.
    Training opportunities are virtually useless.
Employees are trapped in very small areas of expertise, which effectively traps you at the company with no skills growth to offer another employer.
Raises that can't outpace inflation essentially amount to pay decreases.
3 out of the past 6 years have resulted in no raise at all, despite high company profits and good performance reviews.
Current salary is so far below next position (30%) that a promotion is inconceivable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Review salaries internally vs. industry-wide salaries. Halfway decent raises cost less than hiring new employees.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
