I have been working at Siemens full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Lots of opportunity to move around. Pretty good management. Compensation and benefits are good. Hard-working employees.

Cons

Too many initiatives. It can be hard to keep up. Could do a better job with diversity in upper management levels.

Sales are down. Morale is low. Everyone is trying to be useful and look as busy as possible.

    I worked at Siemens full-time

    Pros

Medical benefits (why else would you put up with this garbage?)

    Cons

Micro-managing managers. Top heavy upper management. No vision. Too many seasoned employees who've outgrown their usefulness.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your direct reports - they're in the trenches all day and know what's going on. Think outside of the box!! Be flexible with your direct reports....nobody wants to work for an a-hole.
