Pros

Exposure to the International Market

Cons

German company with German attitude.

Incase of downsizing American employees are the first ones that get laid-off.

It is a good company for native Germans. If you are a US citizen I wouldn't suggest working for this company since the room for growth would be limited for you.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too much overhead, not enough work

    Pros

Variety of experiences if you are willing to relocate and/or travel. It is great experience to work for a company that is so big that everything and everyone becomes a metric. The complex environment is challenging.

    Cons

Being a metric for the company doesn't "feel" very good or fun. Too much overhead documenting what you are doing every minute of every day. Getting work done doesn't have to be this hard. While they give you plenty of PTO, they undermine your ability to use it by setting high performance targets that you can only reach if you don't use PTO.
