No opinion of CEO

Pros

Siemens Medical Solutions has great benefits, with many job opportunities available across the country. Training, (online) is always available, and encouraged by upper management.

Cons

Employees are sometimes led to feel we are not important, the only importance to local management is statistics given to upper management.

Advice to Management

Local management should try to consider it's own employees for advancement. Feedback, comments, or concerns given by employees are ignored unless it pertains to SLAs or statistics.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Great people. Impressive global footprint, they do not hire to fire

    Cons

One can get pigeon-holed. Difficult to change functions. Dominance of German expats

    Advice to Management

Please make your global footprint be reflected in the managament too. You do not need german expats to run the company in every place.

    Pros

The facility in which i worked was like a family atmosphere. Everyone knew each other and there was respect between higher management and the regular employees.

    Cons

The opportunity for advancement was limited since there was a low employee turnover. Some of the supervisors seemed to be in their position due to "promoting incompetence".

    Advice to Management

If an employee is not working up to par and is not getting along with others, don't promote them to management just to remove them from the immediate problem area.
