Pros

very motivated to improve quality of care and employee engagement and quality of leadership

Cons

poor leadership from a couple of regional leaders is tolerated, even though management knows this person has serious people skill issues and causes the company to lose potentially good leaders.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hold everyone accountable to the leadership standards you expect, no matter their role. People do not leave their jobs because they don't like the work, it is usually from poor leadership from superiors.

    I have been working at Signature HealthCARE

    Pros

    The patients/residents you meet make anyone's job worthwhile, they offer comparable pay for most positions, they are flexible in most departments for vacation time. Some staff members go out of their way to make the residents enjoy their time in the facility as well as boost morale for other staff members. Lots of good team members located in many of their facilities that really care about their job.

    Cons

    Company posts about promoting within however seldom is the hiring fair to current employees, it will greatly depend on whom the Senior staff member is. They have these 3 pillars which poses a good marketing tool but when a company does the latter and imposes sometimes unreal expectations, it's very hard for the staff to really believe in what the company is supposed to stand for. Lacking in CEU/Education reimbursement for staff(below par for whom they compete with)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Need to be unbiased in in-network promotions and allow qualified vested team members a chance, improve upon the CEU reimbursement, need to revamp staff guidelines for CNA's(allows for better care), therapist productivity(more realistic productivity, allows for better care of residents), better budget for activities greatly improves quality of life.

    Pros

    The employees and nurses truly care for the client in the facility and it shows by the relationships that they build with them.

    Cons

    The only challenges are the typical challenges that any nursing home or recovery facility would experience. No additional challenges that I know of.
