    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Hours were not that bad and I never had to work weekends unless I wanted to. The work force was great but were not treated that way.

    Cons

No one in there is educated and it you are treated with no respect at all. There was a gold ol boy network and no one in Management or Salary was qualified for their job.

    Advice to Management

You should go and learn how to lead and manage again

    Pros

The culture is laid back, it's people are smart. The projects and it's timelines are fairly aggressive making the work fast paced and exciting. The diverse categories Silgan's services keeps it interesting.

    Cons

The downside are thin resources & large project load. Burnout is a real threat. Although the pay they bring you in at is competitive, growth after that is difficult. Pay has been frozen & bonuses are rare for a majority of employees.

    Advice to Management

Pay/professional flatlining is a real problem. No matter how often upper management recognizes key players without a monetary reward, the praise means little and almost always has the opposite effect. Put your money where your mouth is.
