Why Be A Caregiver?

Current Employee – been working at Silverado Senior Living full-time for more than a year

Prosunderstanding cooperative management, team work, good work environment, positive attitude rewarded, residents treated well, in services for how to do a better job with residents, tools available to do your job

Conssalary compensation low but matches most other places for caregiver, (they should lead in provisions for caregivers- goes along with their mission statement to be different) no company paid health insurance, longevity with company should be rewarded, (there would be less and less turnover)

Advice to Senior Managementshould have some pay raise incentives or stair stepping available for caregivers, nurses have this, the core of the business is provided by caregivers and they are the least paid.(hence there is a large turnover of caregivers, good ones have to eventually leave to find better pay)
