Pros

Fun work atmosphere
Great work/life balance
GREAT parties!
Great leadership

Cons

Difficult to advance
Communication between departments is lacking, but improving
Can be difficult to get internal changes implemented
Very sales-oriented (top performer vacations are only for sales)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't forget about your support staff! Include them on the awards trips! Improve internal communication. Remove roadblocks from internal projects and make it easier for changes to be made. Spend more time with lower-level employees to learn what they love/hate about their job.

    Pros

    - Great culture, growing industry, competitive product
    - Leadership will challenge reps to achieve high performance but will also support them along the way
    - The areas that need attention are openly acknowledged and in the process of being addressed

    Cons

    - AXIOM is a great methodology but should be used as a rule of thumb and not as a rule of law
    - Not too many Cons here...

    I have been working at Silverpop full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Great culture! People really care. Even though we are over the 500 mark, there is still an incredible entrepreneurial feel to the culture. We are encouraged to get out in front of prospects and to industry events. We are not micro-managed. We run our own businesses within our territories.
    Product is really second to none! Once a customer signs they are amazed at how great our technology is.

    Cons

    We are still finding our voice. We have an amazing story, company, and product, however we still don't have as much brand awareness as I would like to see.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The Axiom/solution selling methodology is great, but make more of an effort to train newbies on the industry, competition, etc. instead of learning excessive acronym based selling model.
