    I worked at Simon Fraser University as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

    It is flexible and the environment is very good . It is a university on the Mountain. Can see the snow mountain on the northshore.

    Pros

    Great benefits and pension program, amazing education benefits, respectful workplace, great co-workers, a really nice work environment, interesting projects

    Cons

    No performance evaluations which makes career planning a bit difficult; some employees stay long past their due date for this reason.

    Implement objectives based performance evaluations to enhance career planning and development; increase salary for certain positions to attract more highly skilled people
