“Watch out! When times get bad, if you make more than others, you are the most expendable!”
I worked at Simon Property Group full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Great people. Good attitudes. A willingness to help.
Cons – Management does not care what happens to you. They will do anything to survive.
Advice to Senior Management – Get some educated leadership and quit trying to limp along with supervisors and managers who are poorly prepared. The upper echelons crow about their Wharton, Harvard, and Stanford grads, but there is none of this talent wasted on middle management. These people stand on their workers and take all the credit. Too bad if you are just starting out.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
