Strong company, poor employers

Office Administrator (Current Employee)

ProsDecent benefits and strong departments. The company is good at what it does while continually competing in a very strong market. Strong non-exempt employees.

ConsProfits before employees. Very heavy in upper and senior management who are out of touch with the rest of the employees. Communication between management and non-exempt employees is very poor. Completely bogged down in paperwork and the over-abundance of policies. If you work in the field (mall locations), you are treated as a secondary employee with sub-par computer programs. IT department needs a lot of improvement.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen and pay attention to what is going on in your departments. Incorporate field employees in the company picnics, bowling events, Christmas party. Include non-exempt employees in the bonus structure.
