Current Employee – been working at Singapore Armed Forces as an intern for less than a year

Pros – You can't report to work too early and can't leave too late. A*STAR wants you to spend time with your family. What more do you want. Very friendly people. Supervisors actually listen to what you say, that's why you are there!

Cons – If your posted to jurong island or something, travel will be a chore.

Advice to Senior Management – Get to know your supervisors, they may be scientists/engineers but they are more social than you think.
