    Hectic Place to Work

Former Employee - Customer Service Representative in Augusta, GA

I worked at Sitel full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Sitel Augusta has a good setup; however, managerial staff leaves a lot to digest. Their promotion and salary process is nice, but the $8.50 hourly doesn't pay a light bill and buy groceries for a family of 3 biweekly!

    Cons

The downside is the starting pay of $8.50 hourly, the disqualified managerial staff, and their method of training for new employees working on the Verizon contract especially.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should revamp their training programs. New employees should not be trained in a Fictitious setting because once they are exposed to real time, they hit panic mode because they are being graded for speed of handling various situations in the correct manner. If new employees don't perform they are terminated on the floor for failure to meet quotas!
