Easy summer job, but not a lot of career development.

ATS Surveyor (Current Employee)
Vallejo, CA

Pros- Management is great, and will always be there if you need them
- Free entry to the park and a 15% discount
- Very flexible scheduling

Cons- A bit of favoritism with the managers depending on the department
- Very strict dress code (won't be able to clock in for the littlest things)
- Can get very stressful with the amount of guests that constantly approach you

Advice to Senior ManagementDrop the red dot system. I got a fair number of red dots, but it easily gets too competitive between departments and employees. The employees who didn't get red dots often felt inferior as an employee.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Coworkers are great, hours can fluctuate, very flexible.

    Security Officer (Former Employee)
    Valencia, CA

I worked at Six Flags part-time for less than a year

Pros: -Coworkers were amazing, they were the only reason I liked to come to work. -Work was pretty easy as a security officer, but… Cons: -if you don't like working in the heat, don't apply during the summer. -if you don't like walking… Advice to Senior Management: no advice, they were actually friendly and accommodating. No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
