Varies from park to park

Foods Host (Former Employee)
Arlington, TX

ProsIt's a decent summer job I guess; Some parts are air conditioned. You'll get a tan by the end. The employee perks are a decent bonus, including free admission for yourself and another, plus free extra tickets periodically.

ConsManagement cheats employees out of lunch breaks; is unresponsive to employee complaints; has unreliable scheduling; sets unrealistic requirements resulting in 75% turnover in some departments

Advice to Senior ManagementStop the turnover! You've lost and alienated employees this way. The $10 over and under till rule forced me to quit, though I never stole. When you handle thousands of dollars on a busy day, mistakes can happen!

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Average pay, roll the dice with management and co-workers

    Cash Control Agent (Former Employee)
    San Antonio, TX

I worked at Six Flags part-time for more than 3 years

Pros: Unlimited free visits and parking, 30% off park merchandise. Work was pretty fun if you had a good group of friends to… Cons: Some co-workers and managers are very immature, but you should expect that at a business that hires mainly minors. I worked late hours at… Advice to Senior Management: Pay your employees more, and hire more Loss Prevention employees! Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
