I have been working at Six Flags part-time (more than an year)

Pros

Outdoors, lots of sunlight, friendly people, lots of interaction with people, get to get into the park for free, ride all the rides.

Cons

Boring at some times (most times) and often really hot or really cold. Can only wear a slim wind braker and it often gets too cold.

I worked at Six Flags as a contractor (more than 5 years)

    Pros

It used to be a fun place to work that you could be proud to put on a resume.

    Cons

They treat employees like children. They don't value long time employees. They don't take care of existing facilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When you treat employees like children, they will act like children. It's a shame to see a company with such a rich history as a "theme" park reduced to a cheap amusement park/roadside attraction.

I worked at Six Flags part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Salary increases a little if you're a returner
    Decent promotion opportunities

    Cons

If you're in an outdoor position, the summer heat can be awful
    Few benefits
    Pay could be higher
    Catty team leads

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Higher pay and better benefits would probably improve employee morale
