I worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP

    Pros

It's a traditional American company that looks good on the resume, specially if you're just out of school.

    Cons

They squeeze your juice and the life out of you and treat you like a no one. The only way you can get ahead is if you're a male who studied in an Ivy school. Very low office morale. No matter how much you do and care about the company, your efforts are never appreciated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop thinking only about money - you're architects! Design is important as well! Yes, you will always find recent graduates dying to work there, but unless management treats employees with more respect and dignity and appreciates their effort, you will always have a high turnover and bad design.
