I have been working at Skyline Hotels and Resorts full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

The company is very dynamic and professional. It is 14 year old.

It is a growing entity, as such much of the activities are in the uncharted territory. It means the right person to take over as much as you can handle

Cons

Sometimes stressful, requires an ability to learn and adapt to the new systems and policies and procedures.
Resort operations are very weather dependent

    Long hours for salaried employees
Senior Management with lack of organization and work ethic
    No solid Marketing Strategy
No proper organizational structure - Will just throw jobs at low end employees even if its not in their job description.

I have been working at Skyline Hotels and Resorts

    Pros

The best reason to work at Horseshoe was the freedom when I wasn't teaching lessons. The high-speed lift made it possible to get in plenty of runs.

    Cons

There was no communication, leadership, and a lack of direction. The management are like chickens with their heads cut off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take some management courses. Learn how to schedule, run meetings, and training sessions. Get competent Ski Training Pros for personal ski development.
