Current Employee – been working at SmithAmundsen

Pros – Downtown location was good and close to some trains. The views from the building were nice. The attorneys for the most part were quality people, but the lawyers on whole had no say as to the direction of the firm.

Cons – The COO's agenda is odd, and it seems as if the firm's needs are secondary in terms of importance. The leadership at this level needs a new perspective and not sure that the few people who can make the change see or understand the need for a new direction. Too bad for the firm, since other firms of simialr size and background are passing SA by each year.

Advice to Senior Management – Introspection is the key. Look at the top to understand why there is discord and the signs of mis-management ($$$) are there for shareholders to see. They need to ask, and take a stand to bring the change to SA that is needed to move the firm forward.
