Decent Internship with Some Drawbacks at Smithsonian Associates

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGreat, enthusiastic people. Great program for interns, lots of inside activities plus networking and other career workshops. Fun place to work. Encourage meeting with other staff members to learn about job/opportunities/etc.

ConsLots of "typical" internship work, including photocopying and collating paper, mailing boxes. Often not enough work to fill the day. No stipend for travel expenses.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive interns more responsibility, they will impress you with their dedication!
