Pros

It is an okay job, I only work part time so it works out great for me and has a flexabile schedule.

Cons

Some seniors are quite rude and feel they are over powering. Lots of seniors who do not have full time work.

Advice to Management

Give workers more feedback on their work and enforce positive recgonition and great coustomer service to all the dedicared shopers.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Great shifts, easy to get flexible schedules Friendly staff and service mantra can sometimes be a rewarding position--you get more praise from customers than management. Social club.

    Cons

Little communication from management Hard work, essentially underpaid position given the job responsibility (min. wage) Poor benefits, zero unionization and stringent promotion policies Courtesy clerks responsible for much of the front end in terms of supply and cleanliness A lot more work than relative positions at other stores but no appropriate commensuration Can potentially be a dangerous job--a girl in this position was hit by a car and killed. Not enough workers in my position

    Advice to Management

Before anything else can be done, all workers should be unionized. Higher-level positions are decent but low-end jobs are taxed heavily, some positions are somewhat understaffed. Supervisors are OK, but it can be difficult sometimes to anticipate what needs to be done and the work is quite intense. Teamwork is almost not there. The position just doesn't compete with other stores and is underpaid, however the scheduling is quite good. Did I say unionize?

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Provide more opportunities to grow within the company.
