Pros

Latitude in decisions to do the right thing. Its why their customer service is so good. They do also have an accelerator program which increases ones raises and promotions.

Cons

Poor Pay, and sloppy practices related to closing/opening and distribution to stores of materials/supplies.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay like Costco, and your employees would care even more about the business, and the competition would be blown out of the water.

    Flexible hours
    Meet some cool people
    Company promotes from within (You can go from store clerk to store manager fairly easily)
    Pay is reasonable

    Cons

    No employee discount program.
    Micromanaged - middle management imposes rediculous rules on frontline managers; making your boss stressed out (not good).
    High employee turnover rate

    Get better frontline managers. Middle management micromanages too much, it doesn't work, especially long term.
