I have been working at Social Security Administration

    Pros

More secure and stable than private sector. Unless you commit a criminal action, you won't have to worry about being fired. They don't have to promote you, but they won't fire you.

    Cons

Lack of competition like private sector creates a work ethos of where major mistakes are tolerated. Inadequate training. Substandard in quality employees. Individual workload mindset; little tolerance for team collaberation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change mindset from "do your work, do your own research, and stop asking others" into "let's all talk, let's all share, let's all work together."

    No opinion of CEO
