I worked at Sodexo full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Higher pay scale than in house management. Information resources aplenty. Many, many people to contact with questions

Cons

Becoming extremely paperwork heavy. So many forms and reports to fill out that it leaves very little time for actual job duties on the hospital floor

Advice to ManagementAdvice

two things: 1) get operations people involved in the sales process so that there is not so much disconnect between what is "promised" and what is operationally feasible. 2) either make admin support a part of smaller contracts or ease paperwork loads on managers

I worked at Sodexo full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Used to be a company that cared about people; its employees and clients.

    Cons

Everything is driven by financials. Do not care about people. Terminate long term employees on the spot. No warning given. Many long term employees laid off due to restructure and no support from SR HR to assist with new jobs. Once you are laid off, you are garbage. To get your severance, you have to sign a letter stating you will no sue the company, so they have you over a barrel and they can treat you poorly. Loyal, hard working, long term employees treated like they were terminated for theft.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clean house on your Sr HR. Seriously, how can they even be in their roles with no formal HR college education?

    Doesn't Recommend

    No opinion of CEO
