Pros

Lots of professional development opportunities. People stay there for a long time. General employee satisfaction is high.

Cons

Hard to advance if you come in entry level, you can't even apply for advanced positions unless you are already in a certain pay grade.

Advice to Management

Make advancement based more around merit and less about existing compensation structure--it's just plain silly.

    Pros

I love the school I work in

    Cons

I belive that Sodexo does not care about their employees. When they take most of your employees out of the kitchen, & have the people that are still there take on a lot more work, and tell you if you can't get all the work done they can fine someone who can. Now does that sound like a company that claims they care about their emplyoees

    Advice to Management

Think about us that is working our butts off, & you are getting richer & richer.

    Pros

-free food -diverse workplace -decent compensation package - always able to work overtime if one would desire - flexible schedule

    Cons

-low wages for the amount of skills required(food service, call center experience, dietary training) -incentives for performance were withdrawn once employees reached them and never replaced

    Advice to Management

-must learn to be more understanding of workers' needs and capabilities - must be more flexible with scheduling for student workers
