I have been working at Sodexo USA full-time for less than a year

Pros

Sodexo provides great management training, values employee work-life balance, promotes employee network groups and mentoring programs, encourages career growth and mobility. The commitment to strong ethics is evident across the company, from units to senior leadership.

Cons

It's a very large company, so there's a significant learning curve. There are a lot of divisions to get to know and processes to learn as a new employee. With so many different units, there is feeling of working in silos and a lack of connection with the company as a whole, unless you make the effort to connect through the networking or mentoring groups.

I worked at Sodexo USA part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free food during breaks, people are respectful and friendly, and it always smells good.

    Cons

It can be a bit dangerous around lot of large-scale kitchen equipment. Managers always want you to worker over time, and it's not ideal for a student who prioritizes studying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more considerate of how tired your part time student employees can get! Be nice.

    Pros

Diversity, career growth, many tools to succeed

    Cons

Minimal locations in NC, moving too fast in electronic world, downsizing with use of programs without appropriate training, company policies are not universally applied, becoming very impersonnel towards employees, proming unrealistic goals to clients then holding GM and leaving the with minimal support

Stop looking for most inexpensive inexperienced Managers and ignoring experienced Managers with many years of positive reviews and experience to save money.
