I worked at Softchoice full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Bring your dog to the office

Cons

Upper management means well but doesn't have the experience outside the company to move forward or implement change. A LOT of inbreeding - they hire internally to a fault – Almost a union atmosphere. The person that has been there the longest gets the job. Qualifications mean nothing. They claim a "great culture" but it really lacks one Management comes up with policies as needed too suite every situation in their favor Training if far from what is needed for the sales staff Inside sales upper management doesn’t seem to have a grasp on what really goes on. There is a group of ‘leaders’ in Toronto that look out for each other and ensure they cover each other’s back.

Advice to Management

Sorry to say but replace most of you with outside experienced people

I worked at Softchoice full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The compensation for your job requirements is very fair. There is also quite a bit of opportunity to grow within the company (if that's what you want). The company is also well-respected in the industry.

    Cons

It is, by a large extent, the most boring office environment. They try to overcome this by having a "hip culture" and being "dog-friendly", but no one cares.

    Advice to Management

Management is strong and all well trained.
