Access to online training (Skillsoft and Softtek University)
Friendly environment

Cons

They don't provide Health Insurance for your family
There is no match for 401(k)
The performance review is not tied to a promotion or salary increase even if your performance was outstanding

I have been working at Softtek

    Pros

Working with users globally in a multicultural environment.

    Cons

Yearly the company shows us doing very well, however this does not translate into some increase for employees. Here's a suggestion a bonus for all employees after performing so well. Sometimes you can feel you got 'lost in the shuffle', it seems that people in the 'know' have the opportunities for advancement in 'Mexico', not much movement in the GDCs. Raises, don't let me go into that; simply - in the US, they have something called cost of living increase. I was told about advancement in learning skills, have yet to see anything that is available.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is a sense of true Solidarity in SA, however, when you want employees to make a commitment to do better in the coming year, do not lose sight that we are the ones that are moving the company forward. Try to retain workers with skills and match the counter offer of companys making an offer. In the end keeping the people with experience and skills will make this company expand more readily and be more structurally secure.
