Pros
SAG is a growing company well recognized on the ESB and BPM market. This growing could be reflected in new carrier opportunities.
The company is perfectly managed from financial perspective which guarantees a long term stability.
Challenges are common in this company and the teams are quite unique though most of the people are not fully satisfied with the current top management direction.
Cons
SAG is a big company and therefore is very cost focused. Do not expect to have an easy life. Too many procedures and too many constrains do not help your business and carrier developing.
To reach high level positions is not that easy even when you have shown your value.
Recognitions could arrive in term of job titles but this is not always reflected in extras on your package.
The company is not facilitating the knowledge sharing because too hierarchical and old fashion set up.
There are not well defined carrier paths in place and the company does not invest in external high level training though SAG provides several internal trainings.
Advice to Senior Management
Be more flexible and allow people to full explore their possibilities. Costs are important for big companies but employees satisfaction is even more important to be very successful in this market sector.
SAG needs to give better recognition for its best employees to guarantee business continuity being focus on the quality of people and motivating each human resource . The today market is too competitive to afford a big turnover of professionals.
