Pros

Product suite is very superior compared to competition. Compensation model is very satisfying compared to similar vendors in this space.

Cons

The organization is too large and unmanaged in certain areas. Most of the key decisions are taken in Germany and not in the US.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Brand establishment is critical to survive in the US. Four years after acquiring webMethods and still, very little has been done to enhance the SAG brand in the US.

    I worked at Software AG

    Pros

    Work life balance . sometimes no work at all.

    Cons

    Most people in management roles belong to a certain community and they ensure that people from the same community will grow.For the rest of the people growth will only be a dream.Promotions happen once in 3 years ,this has no relation to performance.

    What you get to see is a bunch of disgruntled employees who cant leave because they cant get a job outside , So
    they try to push the new joinees away so that their position will be safe.

    Its very difficult to be accepted by a team here especially if it has a person who has been with the company for few years.

    Average tenure of an employee is few months to a year , people leave as they cannot adjust to the culture here.

    There is nothing technical that you get to do here .

    They promise onsite after 3 years , these are just fake promises as this is a low cost center and they want low cost hires.cost cutting happening in all areas.

    Negative culture because of the way in which people get treated here. Only two roles "master" and "slave".
    If you are not a manager you will fall into a slave category and made to work as hard as possible.(With no rewards)

    Hiring standards are very low, and people who ask for less are immediately offered.

    Attrition at its peak , no efforts are taken to retain employees.

    In short , join here only if you have no offers.Its better not to have a job than take this one .It creates a negative attitude in people.

    Change the senior management in India. They care less for their employees.
