Pros

Global reach. Distributed teams. Clients throughout US. Multiple practices. Pays on time. Good benefits.

Cons

Quick on removing resources when not required. Lack of mentorship.

    I have been working at Sogeti full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Working with Fortune 500 companies on large enterprise projects providing amazing career opportunities.

    Cons

    There is little to no knowledge sharing in the organization. Also, no consideration for consultants passion and areas of interest most time you are working backward with little growth opportunity or promotions. No salary increases only bonuses with small returns as the number permitted is so small for a company this size. They hire and fire people in a very unethical way i.e. there will be 20 people on the bench so they fire them only to hire new consultants the next week. They need to work on communicating and working with current employees to find them roles versus a revolving door method. This is why they hire people on the spot! Think twice before leaving steady work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to the consultants and try to stop hiring and firing people that are only a fit for 1 project this would increase morale of employees and improve results from everyone and in turn keeping the right brand for Sogeti.
