Pros – Casual workplace
You actually get a lunch
Creative team has talent

Cons – Guys who run it are too busy racing their cars.
Little to zero industry experience.
No inhouse education.
Reactionary to internal pressure.
No large big names projects.
Management is lazy.

Advice to Senior Management – I've worked with other agencies where there was room to advance and grow. Solar Velocity just doesn't cut it. I frankly don't know how they stay in business.

Pay attention to those who have industry experience with actual name brand agencies. Successful agencies inspire those who work for them.
Actually hire a board of directors (like real agencies do) & be accountable to them.
Build your portfolio so that it's something to be proud of. The site is the first place clients go.
Figure out if you really want to do this or if this is just lining your pockets.
Encourage your employees to build their portfolio too. Their good work makes you look good.
Pay folks what they're worth. They shouldn't have to take a second job because you can't afford to pay them. Yet, you can afford to go racing every other weekend.
Listen to your staff. By the time your staff has stopped talking to you, it's too late.
