Cons

The products they make are terrible. After working there for over 2 years, I still was befuddled with how difficult it was to set up basic features on firewalls than on a Linux based firewall. The amount of internal politics was completely insane given the small size of the company.

Advice to Senior Management

Develop more technologies in house. Stop going shopping for terrible technologies ( CDP ? ) at the expense of not researching new innovations in house. There are smart people there , so give them the opportunity to explore new technologies. Don't just give lip service in regards to career development. Sonicwall, NEVER allows you to move into new projects. Your only option for advancement is to quit. The same goes for real raises. People are so pigeon holed with no possibility of developing their skills that almost everyone ( minus H1B visa indentured servants ) complains about wanting to go somewhere else.
